What a sweet little angel this little girl was! She had the most beautiful skin and almost looked like a little baby doll. She was having a bit of a hard time and was cluster feeding during her session so we weren't able to get the variety we normally would, so mom and dad are coming back when she is sitting for a special sitter session as they were not able to reschedule due to a long adjustment period for feeding. Newborn photography is such an intricate creative experience with a lot of moving parts. Scheduling a newborn session is all dependent on the babies feeding schedule. Babies hit certain growth spirits in the first month and  a lot of babies take awhile to get the hang of feeding. Although newborn session are best done in the first couple weeks of your babies life, it is best to avoid those periods during that first month as they can make a newborn session very difficult. This is why we have all of our client touch base with us after the baby is born and we keep in constant contact with them. We ask a lot of questions to assure we are hitting the correct time frame when scheduling the session. Some babies are great at 4 - 6 days some are great at 7-10 days and others are best after 12 days. When scheduling your newborn session it is very important to trust your photographers expert opinion. Although situations like this sweet girl's session couldn't have been avoided, a lot can be. The most important thing is for you and your newborn to have a stress-free photography experience, that is what we strive for every single time. Check out the gallery below for some of the cute photos from her session!
